Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces: Balancing Daily Life with Inner Peace | Vedic Astrology Forecast for September 16th, 2016

The peak of the Lunar Eclipse in Pisces will occur around 3pm on September 16th, 2016. This is shortly after the Moon enters sidereal Pisces, which shows the eclipse energy itself began with the moon in Aquarius. And the Sun had just entered Virgo about 7 hours prior.

Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces: Balancing Daily Life with Inner Peace | Vedic Astrology Forecast for September 16th, 2016
In order to achieve inner peace, life should be balanced by letting go of what’s already passed.

What does Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces Bring?

This shows that our Power and soul (Sun) are seeking ways to create practical plans and steps to bring our creative inspiration into form. And our Mind and Emotional heart (Moon) are carrying our higher goals, ambitions and our desire to serve others into greater Universal compassion and surrender.

Ketu, or the South Node, will bring a stronger influence of letting go and falling away. Pisces is a sign of endings, and Ketu eclipsing the Moon will strengthen the letting go of the old and the outdated.

So, we find ourselves at a turning point with this eclipse. Our past goals may be falling away. Either they didn’t bring the level of satisfaction and happiness we imagined, or perhaps they weren’t practical and didn’t work.  Either way, we are needing to let go.

This is like a reset point, and as the Moon continues its journey past the eclipse it will let go of the past and prepare for a new cycle of growth.

The Sun is joining Jupiter and Venus in Virgo, showing our Power (Sun) connecting to our Higher principles, teachings (Jupiter) and our capacity for Happiness (Venus). Virgo brings about a practical plan to express these things into the world. Jupiter will support with hope and optimism and the expansion of practical steps that are needed to bring about positive changes and growth.  It will also encourage our plans to be based upon our higher teachings and deeper sense of meaning and purpose.

Venus in Virgo has the possibility of becoming too picky, however. So we want to be mindful that we don’t make our vision of happiness so rigid and specific that we find fault in other possible opportunities for happiness and positive steps for change. Because Venus is also an indicator for relationships in general, be aware of any feelings of dissatisfaction within your personal relationships and be willing to ask yourself if you are just placing too many expectations upon the ways you are wanting happiness and pleasure to show up for you right now.

Fortunately, the Moon in is Pisces at this time, which helps to bring a natural balance to the detail oriented, hard working and practical nature of Virgo. It reminds us to balance the practical with the ability to also let go and allow the mind to turn away from the stress of the daily world. How can we find a balance between our responsibilities in the world and our inner desire to relax, let go and feel deep inner freedom and peace?

That question becomes an important theme for this Eclipse. And it will reverberate for many months to come. When we become too focused or obsessed with the managing the details of life, it brings about anxiety and stress instead of order and positive support.  How do we find the balance?

So, what have you been feeling pressured by? Where has life become stressful? What worries have you been focusing on that it may be time to let go of or at least take a break from?

When we are caught in the details, it can be helpful to pull back and look at the big picture again. Moon in Pisces helps us let go and see the big picture. Many things we worry about are beyond our control. It may be time to assess what is causing you stress and ask “am I really able to change this?” If you can’t change it, then it is time to let it go during this eclipse window. And if you can change it, and it IS important, then it’s also time to step away from in so you can rest and relax your mind.

Perhaps a short day trip. Or a day at the spa. Or even just a day of doing nothing would be helpful.

Assess where you have been, what has worked and what hasn’t worked. Be willing to ask yourself where your goals and ambitions have shifted. Then take some time to reconnect with your deeper inner nature of love, joy and peace. Once you have refreshed, then begin to get clear on what works and what your true goals are. Then prepare to recreate yourself by asking “what is the one next step I need to take to take my life in this new direction”.

What are your experiences of this current eclipse?

The above is a general Vedic Astrology Forecast. It discusses the shifts that are happening at the level of the Collective experience, as well as how you can use that Collective energy for your own growth and evolution.
