Jeff Craft (Kali Das)
Jeff Craft (Kali Das) is the Founder and Director of the Atlanta School of Tantra Yoga, and the creator of the Ecstatic Union® System. He personally develops and leads every program currently offered by the School.
In 1997, shortly after completing Massage School, Jeff received a client referral. After multiple Massage and NeuroMuscular Therapy treatments within a two week period, the client could only muster up "I guess it may feel a little better, but it still really hurts".
So, Jeff made the client an offer: "I have been teaching myself about Energy Healing since 1990, but I have only used it on myself. I don't know what to expect, but if you are open to it, I will do an energy healing session to see if that may help." During that session, using a "self-taught" energy healing method, the young man's shoulder pain almost completely disappeared.
This was Jeff's first validation that he had strong, natural healing abilities. With that encouragement, he set out to learn everything he could about Healing. What started as an obsession with energetic healing evolved into a Spiritual Path and an unshakable desire for Spiritual Self-Realization. Through this Journey he has developed a great passion to assist others with Personal Transformation and Spiritual Awakening.
Jeff's extensive training combined with his personal experience of walking this Path make him the perfect guide for the journey. He has a wide range of powerful healing tools that can address healing in any area of life. At the same time, he has the vision and wisdom to understand how they integrate into a single system that ultimately leads to a single destination. He also knows the obstacles on the path, and the best ways to avoid them.
Jeff delights in witnessing the transformation and growth of others. It is important to him that the Wisdom of Authentic Tantra Yoga is presented in its original context as a Spiritual Path. He continues to direct his students towards the Highest Truth while correcting misunderstandings about Tantra and Yoga.
Through the Ecstatic Union® System, Jeff has integrated the most powerful and effect methods into a Single System which is guided by the Wisdom of Authentic Tantra Yoga. It offers healing tools and teachings to create a more vibrant, joyful and harmonious life experience, while also teaching how to use your healing process and your daily life experiences as part of your Spiritual Path.
Jeff began self study in 1990. And since then, he has completed the training to become an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500), a Certified Vedic Astrologer, a Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, a Licensed Massage Therapist, and a Certified NLP Practitioner. Additionally, Jeff has multiple other certifications in various bodywork methods, energy healing modalities, personal transformation techniques and life coaching methods.
He began a formal Tantra Kriya Yoga Path in 1998 and received Initiation from his SatGuru in 2002. Since then, he has continued his professional development in conjunction with intense personal practice and study of Non-Dual approaches to Tantra, Kashmiri Shaivism and Advaita Vedanta under the guidance of his Guru.
Jeff has been in private practice since 1997 and started the Atlanta School of Tantra Yoga in 2007. Jeff also works with Sam Geppi as the Senior Instructor and Program Manager for the Vedic Astrology Certification programs at the American Academy of Vedic Art and Science. And he was also hired to develop and teach the Vedic Astrology portion of Ayurvedic Psychology Spiritual Counseling Program as the New World Ayurveda School. Additionally, he previously served as the Program Director and Teacher for the Ayurvedic Training modules at the Pranakriya School of Yoga Healing Arts from 2013 - 2016.
Jeff lives in the Atlanta Metro area with his Husband of over 13 years and their cat Clara. Away from his passion as a Spiritual Teacher and Healer, Jeff also has a degree in Musical Theater Performance. He sang in the Atlanta Opera Chorus for three seasons, and also worked for three seasons with an Atlanta based Musical Theater company, but stepped away from performing in late 2007 to give more focus to Teaching. He still enjoys music as a personal hobby, as well as having a passion for travel and foreign languages.
