I have been working as a Professional, Certified Massage Therapist for almost 20 years.
I offer a range of therapuetic massage (deep tissue, swedish, neuromuscular therapy, etc) as well as Reiki Sessions, Transformational Bodywork, and selected spa services. Please be sure to look over the service descriptions to help better understand how these services may benefit you.
If you have not already, please read the session descriptions under the "Massage & Bodywork" section, as well as the "Reiki Sessions". Do not allow the labels of the different session types to confuse you. They are provided as a way of giving us a common language to help you define your interests and needs during your session.
Your session will be custom tailored to address your individual needs and desires and help you achieve your personal session goals. Using the session titles is helpful to communicate the type of experience you are seeking, but what is even more helpful is clearly expressing your needs and goals.
Anything I do during a session is intended to help you meet your personal goals for our work together. That said, you always have the right to ask for things you would like during the session or to say "no" to anything that feels uncomfortable to you for any reason.
Each person is individual. The best indicator is how you and your body are responding. Generally speaking, maintenance is once every 2-4 weeks, with more frequent visits based upon personal preference or trying to reach a specific goal.
Yes. I do Outcalls to the Metro Atlanta area for an addional $50 Travel fee, plus any parking fees if you are staying at a hotel. Travel fees for outcalls outside the immediate Metro area may be higher.
Incall session rates are $95 for One Hour, $120 for 90 minutes, and $160 for Two Hours. Only $30 to add Hot Stones to your session. (90 minute minimum is recommended for Hot Stone Massage or Transformational Bodywork)
Outcall session rates are $145 for One Hour, $170 for 90 minutes and $210 for Two Hours.

Appointments are available every day from 10am til 9pm. Late night appointments will be considered if requested by phone or email at least 24 hours in advance. Same day appointments are always honored when my schedule permits, but it is recommended that you schedule in advance, especially if you are wanting multiple services. Most Spa services require additional preparation time that last minute bookings will not permit.

While Email is the preferred method for advanced scheduling, please note that last minute and same day appointments are usually best handled by phone and not by e-mail.
For same day appointment requests or if you just prefer phone communication, please call Jeff Craft at (770) 853-2823. Please leave a message if I am not available. Most calls received during scheduled hours will be returned within less than 1 to 2 hours. Emails are usually responded to within less than 12 hours. Reply times may vary. If I have not been able to return a phone call by 8pm, I will call the next day.
Massage, especially with deeper pressures, releases toxins such as metabolic waste from the muscles. Water is needed to help flush these out as well as to ensure proper hydration of the muscle. Without proper water consumption following a massage, these toxins will be reabsorbed by the body. In some cases, this can actually cause the person to experience flu-like symptoms. Best to just drink the water! In fact, for best results, drink plenty of water all the time!
Although most people don't like to hear it, ICE is the most called for application for sore and strained muscles. ICE helps reduce inflammation and swelling. It acts as a vasoconstrictor to help push fluid out of the area, allowing the irritated tissue to relax.
HEAT on the other hand acts as a vasodilator, and increases circulation and fluid in the area. HEAT is good for "stiffness" and to help open up an area and soften the tissues, but it is not recommended if there is soreness and inflammation as it can further aggravate the area.
One compromise is to use "contrast therapy": alternating heat and ice. This acts like a "pump" in the area with the ice pushing fluids out and calming the inflammation, and then the heat bringing new nutrients and fluids back into the area. It is recommended in most cases that you finish with ice.
In addition to drinking plenty of water and using ice and heat appropriately, balanced nutrition and regular low impact exercise can help the overall muscular system and reduce soreness and stress. Stretching is also particularly effective if done correctly.
Yes. Jeff Craft completed a dual certification course for Massage Therapy (CMT) and NeuroMuscular Therapy (NMT) in March 1997 at New Life Institute. (Now called Rising Spirit Institute) In 2007, he became a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) when Georgia began requiring licensure in the state. He is also a Reiki Master and Karuna Ki Master, and is on the CSFT (Cerebrospinal Fluid Technique) National Teaching Staff. In addition, Jeff is Certified in Bio-Cellular Transformation ®, DNA Cellular Rejuvenation ®, and NeuroMuscular Therapy. We understand the occasional need to cancel; however, we ask that you do so at least 24 hours in advance. A one-half fee is charged to for cancellation without 24 hours notice. A full fee is charged for appointments missed without notice.
Yes we do! Gift certificates are a delightful way to introduce someone to the benefits of massage. They are valid for up to one year from the purchase date, and they can be made out for any service or dollar amount. You can pick them up in person or you can order them over the phone or on-line. Once we have recieved your payment we can mail them to you or directly to the recipient.
Most of our clients take all of their clothes off, but there is always a sheet available to stay covered. Only the part of the body being worked on is exposed, and we are well trained in proper draping techniques. However, your own comfort level is what's important. If you want to leave on some clothing during the massage, that's perfectly all right. If this is an issue, please discuss it with me prior to the session so I can explain how it may impact your session.
Some sessions, such as Reiki and the Energy Healing treatments generally can be done with you fully clothed.
No. I am not a Medical Doctor, Psychologist, or Licensed Counselor of any type. While treatments in massage and bodywork may have a positive affect on medical conditions and mental and emotional states of being, they are not guaranteed, and I am unable to diagnose or recommend a medically related treatment course for any specific condition. Massage and Reiki are both commonly used as complementary treatments during medical care, pain management, and psychotherapeutic treatment, however if you are having concerns about any of these areas of your health, you are advised to seek out the advice of a qualified medical professional.
You will recieve actual table time for the length of session you are booking. Unlike some other Spa and massage situations where consultation and changing may be included in the One Hour Time slot, I make every attempt to schedule clients in a way that they are able to have the Full Session time on the table, with extra time before and after for consultation, changing, and session review without ever feeling rushed. The only time this would ever be compromised is if you yourself were running late.
We show reverence for our bodies when we exercise regularly, eat healthy foods, enjoy sensuous experiences, and simply relax.
