Two Guided Meditations from the Traditions of Tantra Yoga.
The first Meditation (Tracks 2 - 5. Total time: 15:59), entitled "Peace and Presence" introduces a powerful, foundational meditation practice which focuses on using the breath to relax and energize the body, while bringing the mind and awareness into greater peace and presence. Then you are invited to witness the thoughts of the mind from a detached state of mind. This program begins to develop the Witnessing aspect, which is required for deeper meditation and yoga practices. This program is appropriate for all levels of practitioner from complete beginner to advanced practitioner, and lays an important foundation that will expand as your practices become more advanced.
The second program (Tracks 7 - 16. Total time: 37:07), entitled "Expanding Peace" is a longer guided experience which expands on the first by including some additional yoga practice elements. It adds the practice of Nadi Shodana, or Alternate nostril breathing, which aids in balancing the internal energies to bring about a more focused, peaceful state of mind. It also introduces a short practice of chanting AUM. This program is also appropriate for most beginning level practitioners, and will have a deeper purification effect on the mind.
